As of 2020 we started Flower City Kitties, our community cat program through Flower City Critters working to help community cats and kittens around Rochester.

Our goal is to help find homes for friendly community cats and kittens within the city of Rochester and surrounding areas.
All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and provided any additional medical care they may need.
Why foster?

Why foster?
To foster a cat is, quite simply, to save that cat’s life. A foster home provides this same cat with a safe, temporary place of refuge until he/she is ultimately placed in a permanent, adoptive home. Our rescue relies on our network of fosters to hep us in our mission.
Adoption Procedures
Adoption fee for all cats & kittens is $175.00
All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines, combo tested, microchipped, and dewormed.
Kittens younger than 16 weeks may be adopted into their new homes with arrangements made for spaying/neutering post adoption (surgery appointments are set up and paid for by the rescue).
An adoption application must be filled out prior scheduling a meet & greet. Applications will be reviewed within 72 hours, then a volunteer will reach out via e-mail to discuss the application and schedule a meet & greet at the fosters home if we feel it would be a good fit.
At the time of adoption an adoption agreement must be filled out and signed by the adopter and the full adoption fee paid via the payment button included in the online agreement.
All cats must go home in a secure carrier.
